The Pan Americana Highway connects the two American continents. The musical program is only a snapshot of diverse music cultures. It begins in the USA, with legendary composer Samuel Barber and the minimalists John Cage Philip Glass, and also Frederic Hand.

The 2nd half brings you work from Central - and South America. From Mexico, Mauricio Díaz Alvarez; from Colombia, Gentil Montania. From Chile, Chavier Contreras, and from Argentina, Máximo Diego Pujol. After a short visit to Brazil with Heitor Lobos’s wonderful piece Distribuição de flores we arrive in Argentina’s cosmopolitan capital Buenos Aires with music by the legendary Astor Piazzolla.
